Elizabeth Catlett was the first African American to receive an MFA from the University of Iowa, who has named the newest Residence Hall in her honor. I am so pleased to bring you the same ensemble that recorded my 2X Grammy-Nominated CD, “Quite Pride – The Elizabeth Catlett Project,” except on this particular concert, we will be graced with the presence of Master Drummer, Lewis Nash.
