Rufus Reid ~ Bridges: A Jazz and Classical Fusion Composition Competition

In celebration of the 30th anniversary of RSMI,
Ravinia is pleased to announce Bridges:
An International Jazz and Classical Fusion Composition Competition.
This celebration will award deserving young composers The David Baker Prize
for works written for string quartet and jazz trio.
Up to three winners will be selected and each winner will be awarded a prize of $2500.
Winners will also have their compositions performed at Ravinia Festival’s Martin Theatre
Saturday, June 9th at 8:30 PM.
A composition of each faculty member will also be performed.
