Rufus honored with Lifetime Achievement Award by Wharton Arts

Posted: January 30, 2024

The prestigious Wharton Arts Lifetime Achievement Award distinguishes individuals who, during their lifetime, have made creative contributions of outstanding artistic significance to the performing arts and represent a beacon of inspiration to Wharton Arts’ students.  I am truly honored to have been chosen for this award.  I just do what I do, and even I am surprised at what can be accomplished in a life time.

Wharton Arts will also honor George Marriner Maull with its Education Award for his joint appointment in 1979 as Assistant Conductor of the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra and founding Music Director and Conductor of the New Jersey Youth Symphony (NJYS).

Check the Wharton Arts website for details, press, etc.  It comes with dinner and music too!
