Premiere at Michigan State University

Gwen and Michael Dease commissioned me to write a composition for concert marimba, trombone and bass. I presented them with “Beguiled.” They premiered this trio composition with Rodney Whittiker on bass Friday evening, September 25, 2015, at Michigan Stage University. These three display virtuosic ability on their instruments. It was incredible for me to be in the audience hearing my composition being performed so beautifully. You cannot imagine the thrill.
