Quiet Pride is an hour long, five movement suite for a 20-piece orchestra (Big Band plus 2 French horns and female vocalize). Each movement was written for a particular sculpture of Elizabeth Catlett’s and the music takes shape from the iconic sculpture.
Option One: Full Ensemble

Option Two: Rhythm section, plus vocalist
Completed with your musicians
Option Three: Rufus comes as Conductor only
In each case, a minimum of two days of rehearsal prior to concert

This trio invites Steve Allee and Duduka Da Fonseca to share the spot light, their music and exception chemistry on stage with Rufus. Their maturity, sensitivity and ability to feel and hear what each is playing puts them in synch with one another as they complete the other’s thoughts in their musical conversation.
