The Chicago Jazz Festival features The Rufus Reid Sextet

I am thrilled to take my “Hues” band to The Chicago Jazz Festival. Friday, August 29, at The Jay Pritzker Pavilion in Millennium Park in Chicago, IL. 6:00pm – 7:00pm This is my “Hues of a Different Blue” band. Come and you will hear Bobby Watson, JD Allen, Derrick Gardner, Steve Allee and Winard Haper. Winard came over the other day and we spent some time playing my music. I have never given my music to Winard before and it was such a pleasure to watch him just eat it up and play it like he wrote it. This Chicago Jazz Festival is free! The afternoon/evening will be filled with great music. Join the festivities.
